This wiki is intended to be an historical repository for things about Sun City Palm Desert, and a resource for those interested in how it came to be and grew up.
As a wiki, it is an open resource to any input by selected people knowledgeable about the community and its residents, as well as those who took part in creating it. This will be a work in progress for a long time. As new material is added, it will be made available for all to see and correct if necessary.
Basically, it's a community working together to create and compile anything and everything about Sun City Palm Desert, California — especially the little, enjoyable things.
Eventually, this site will be maintained by the people who use it. Anyone with something positive to offer will be invited to edit this website. The goal is not to present a Neutral Point of View (NPOV), but rather to reflect that some in our community may have differing opinions and viewpoints.

We tend to keep history around here — departed businesses, pictures of things that are now gone, names of people no longer involved in an organization, etc. So, please don't delete those, at least without a very good reason.
